1 Spectrum Therapy is currently conducting interviews through video conferencing. We have adapted our training program to include video instruction and video-conferencing activities prior to 'training overlaps' at the client’s home. Our remote hiring and training procedures are designed to help us all to social distance while bringing more talented individuals onto our exceptional team!

BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN

Part-Time

Are you ready to make a splash in the world of behavior? As an ABA Therapist, you’ll be the superhero kids didn't know they needed! Your mission? To unlock the potential of children with autism and other developmental challenges through the magic of Applied Behavior Analysis. With a sprinkle of patience and a dash of creativity, you'll help shape positive behaviors and skills while making learning fun!

Key Responsibilities:

Behavior Detective: Observe and analyze behaviors like a pro. Use your keen eye to spot patterns and triggers.
Fun with Data: Collect data on behavior like it’s a treasure hunt. You'll track progress and help clients reach their goals!
Skill Builder: Create and implement personalized, engaging intervention plans that turn learning into a game.
Cheerleader Extraordinaire: Encourage and celebrate every little victory, because every step counts!
Collaborative Wizard: Work closely with families, teachers, and other therapists to create a supportive team environment.
Communication Guru: Use clear and friendly language to explain strategies and progress to families, helping them become partners in the journey.

Qualifications:

A passion for working with children and a heart full of empathy.
Knowledge of ABA principles (a certification or degree in a related field is a bonus!).
Creativity galore! Think outside the box to keep sessions exciting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with both kids and adults.
